Hosting
Through my association with R. L. Martin and Associates, I
can also provide web hosting. Once your site is designed, you will need a place to host it.
The options are:
- If you are part of large organization, like a state
agency, you usually have access to an organization web server
that can host your site.
- You can select any of the thousands of web hosting
companies out there. You need to know what kind of server they
use, what kind of connection they have to the Internet, what
services they provide for what price per month, etc.
- Or, you can make it easy and let R. L. Martin and
Associates host your site. It makes design easier and less
expensive. It makes web site management easier. We have access
to a Windows NT server with a high-speed OC-3 connection to
the Internet backbone.
The table below outlines the web hosting options and features
that R. L. Martin & Associates offers their clients. Web hosting
with R. L. Martin and Associates is always optional. I will not
pressure you into using their web hosting services, but I think
that when you compare, you will see that they can provide their clients
with a very comprehensive web hosting package for a very
reasonable price.
