What’s involved in getting your web site online and keeping it up-to-date? I can help you understand the web site development and management process. For starters, every web site has the following costs associated with it:

You can develop your own web site; HTML is not rocket science, but understand that you will still incur development costs. How much is your time and/or your employees time worth? HTML is not difficult, but every new thing you want to add to your web site has a learning curve. Take that from someone who’s been there. I have the experience to produce your web site at reasonable cost in a remarkably short amount of time.

Once your site is developed, you have to find a server to host your site. This is called "web hosting". Your web host should have a high speed (T1 or T3) connection to the Internet backbone. Through my connection with R. L. Martin & Associates, I can provide your web hosting services at a very reasonable cost or can assist you in getting your web site installed on the server of your choice.

Developing the web site is only part of the process. Unless the information that is posted on your site never goes out-of-date and you never have new information to add (very uncommon), you will need someone to make those changes for you and format those new documents. This is what we call web site management. I specialize in web site management. Whether I developed your initial site or not, it doesn’t matter. I am here to assist you with your web site needs.

Do you want to get a simple web site up quick for your business, organization, or special project? I have some standard templates to choose from to make getting you a quality web site at a reasonable price. This Simple/Basic package includes:

• development of a simple site outline
• client selects the web site template and the desired colors
• client provides all text and graphics
• web site layout with appropriate links (maximum 5 pages)
• publishing site on RLM server (other servers have additional cost)
